About The Project
As a developer for marketing interactive at Chicago Booth, part of my responsibilities include a lot of minor, day-to-day projects, such as: adding additional features and functions to existing sites, building various forms and the landing pages to house them, refreshed micro-sites, as well as conducted internal code maintenance and clean-up projects for sites and emails. Below you will find an examples of one of these projects.
The university had built an iPhone App for the Booth Magazine, but there ended up being a delay in the app's launch and approval via the Apple App Store. Because of this unexpected delay, some print materials with App download link via QR Code went live, so to speak. Marketing Interactive had to quickly set up a URL redirect. The redirect sent users to a landing page with a form that would notify them of the App's launch.
