About The Project

The Career Services & Corporate Relations team at Chicago Booth collaborates with Admissions and Alumni on the Chicago Conversations event series. Conversations events are held domestically and internationally with a goal of engaging Booth’s prospective students, current students, and alumni along with the business community in conversation around an industry. The industry is particularly relevant to the city in which the event takes place.

My Contribution

For Chicago Conversations, I developed all of the front-end code which consisted of writing HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery based on a photoshop creative file. The site works on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer 8 & 9. I also converted my code into an ASP.Net master.page to be used as a template in SiteCore. Our partners in the Career Services department have full access to this site to update content themselves. I was heavily involved in the planning phase, working closely with our designer, content writer, and marketing manager on a variety of tasks before building the site. I also participated in the presentation of the site to our partners.
