The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is the second-oldest school in the U.S. and second to none when it comes to influencing business education and business practices. Since 1898, the school has produced ideas and leaders that shape the world of business. Their rigorous, discipline-based approach to business education transforms students into confident, effective, respected business leaders prepared to face the toughest challenges. Chicago Booth has the finest set of facilities of any business school in the world. Each of the four campuses (two in Chicago, one in London, and one in Hong Kong) reflects the architectural traditions of its environs while offering a state-of-the-art learning environment.
As a Front-End Web Developer for the Interactive Marketing Department at Booth, I contributed to the evolution and maintenance of a fresh, functional, and compelling online presence that clearly conveys the University of Chicago Booth School of Business brand image. I built and maintained Booth websites, micro-sites, emails, and other interactive marketing vehicles for the college.
I began at Booth as a contractor and was offered full-time employment through the University after months of hard work. After joining the permanent team in January 2013, I became the lead web developer for all Alumni related projects. In August 2013, as part of a major department reorganization, I became the lead developer for the Full-Time Admissions team, which is the school's most important partner.
